I thought you might like an update on how the (Cudham RIding Club) party went. I don't know what part you play in the creation, but my hats off to those involved. I had my party last Saturday night and it was by far the best party I have ever been to (even if it was my own). I had fourteen very boisterous people. Granted alcohol played a part, but I think the big surprise was the horses and the horse race...We were a very involved loud group and I must apologize to our neighbors. It was simply a lot of "innocent" fun, and the true hysterical laughter can only be appreciated by those who attended. All in all, it'll be a hard act to follow. Anybody who is leery of throwing such a party, shouldn't be. It takes on a life of its own and beats the hum drum of just standing around eating and talking.

I must compliment you on the creativity of the Murder at Farthingay Manor game! My friends and I conducted the game at my home for Halloween, and the surprises kept us on our toes and laughing the entire evening.

I have purchased other murder mystery games before, but yours was by far the best. Whenever I need a murder mystery, I will be sure to purchase from you. Thanks.

I decided to give your "Auction Murder Mystery Game" a try for New Year's Eve this year.....it was wonderful, ever since the party everyone told me that it was the "best" "New Year's Eve", or "party" they had ever been to. My husband and I invited 26 people -- I sent out invitations the month before and followed up with phone calls right after Christmas. Everyone came in character and brought food and drink. Since everyone had to really circulate in order to find out information the drinking was minimal, in fact everyone was excited and sober when they went home ---- what a good way to start the New Year, but with your friends and loved ones going home safely. Even though I had "familarized" myself with the game, during the finale I was taken by surprise with the "gusto" that everyone put into the ending...it was great. My husband and I are already talking about hosting another murder party.

We had the event last night. What a great time we had! I would pronouce it a complete success. The people attending came in costume and really got into playing their characters! Everyone had fun (we had 30 people attend) and it seems we may be doing these murder mystery events every year around

Halloween. So, we'll be looking at your other scripts.

Thank you for your help and thank you for your wonderful product.

Just to let you know, the party was FABULOUS!!! Everyone was so excited they all either rented costumes or made them. Everyone looked great and had the best time ever. We had a very original solution by one of our groups, it was excellent, not correct but amazing how they came up with what they did. A couple of other groups guessed the right answer. Whoever created this did an excellent job, we will definitely purchase another one in the future.

Well, our Last Gasp went off without a hitch! We all had a great time! We ended up with 20 people. It was wonderful to have all the info and props we needed from you. Some people were a little sceptical about coming, but once they got into it they had a fun time. The people who had to perform for us at the end all got together in the church kitchen and nursery room gathering up all kinds of noise makers and did a group "humming" rendition of Auld Lang Syne with crashing kettle covers and baby rattles. It was great. Thanks - we'll be back!

We had a fantastic evening, everything went according to plan... It has certainly been the main topic of conversation over coffee after church this morning.

We got your "Auction" murder mystery back in December and ran it on New Years Eve to an overwhelming success. Our guests are begging for another.

My wife and I had a fabulous time on New Years Eve playing "The Auction" with eighteen of our friends. Everybody really got into their charactors and some of our guests were quite sinister, scary really!

The game was great fun...thanks!

"What a wonderful evening!!!"

"We had about 25 people at the party & it was a wonderful success. Just wanted to let you know what a great time everyone had."

We ran the auction at our home about a month ago and had a great time. We had 35 guests and many dressed the part. We have a suggestion for others running the party. Since I played the lawyer and my wife played the detective, we were both key characters in the story. After the fact we think one of us should have taken a lesser role so we could spend most of our time as host of the party. If you write another story let me know and we may try another party.

I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for a great party! Everyone really enjoyed it--the majority even rented costumes! So it was a great night had by all! Thanks again--it couldn't have run more smoothly, short of you all flying over here and doing it yourself!

Dear MMM Team,

I had recently purchased 'The Auction' kit over the internet. I am just writing to say how wonderful an evening we had. The game was both well organised and easy to understand. Everyone concerned had a great evening and I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you and look forward to you putting more such games onto the internet for the public to enjoy.

Excellent evening, considering it was all done at the last minute, and gave us all something to think about rather than work. Everybody seemed to be keen to solve the clues rather than eating their Xmas meal. I would not hesitate to consider contacting you again in the future.

I ordered 'The Auction' to run as a birthday event to celebrate my wife's 50th. The evening, which was run in our home around a finger buffet, was an outstanding event. As with any group of people - we had 35 guests,- there are bound to be one or two who throw themselves whole heatedly into character, and the others follow. They may have started off in a reserved fashion but when the 'principles' started to perform they joined in giving real depth to the character they were cast as. We had one correct accusation and one very rich drug dealer at the end.

All agreed the event was different from the normal 'birthday party' and that there were some very clever, if not also very devious, individuals who put the event together.

The evening was a new experience for all of us and provided a social and entertaining vehicle allowing our friends from varied and different spheres to meet and enjoy themselves. Thank you.

The evening was a great success. The most unusual solution was that George offed himself. It was good fun. We started at 7:00pm and went to 10:30pm. The players really got into their roles and I believe that made a big difference. And the fact that I read everything eant I was able to prompt situations, and encourage participation. So, thanks a bunch. I don't know how I can top this next year....

Letting you know that the game went down a storm. Everyone made a real effort with the costume although Bernard Fry's dress 'as an expression of man's oppression' was quite a novel one. Perhaps slightly less gin next time, and more of us might actually guess the murderer!

EG

Thank You!!! I just wanted to let you know that I purchased the Auction, and played the game with 14 others on New Years Eve 1999 and it was a huge sucess!!! None of the people had ever played a murder myster game and it was great. Everyone knew that when the actual auction would begin, the game would start to come to an end and no one would let the auction start!! Thanks again for making our New Years Eve 1999 a great party!!!! Please come up with some new mysteries!

TW

I look forward to using THE LAST GASP in March with a group of adults. I have already used THE AUCTION (during July 1999) and people are still talking about the marvelous fun time they had and sometimes refer to each other in their character parts. It was just great fun.
